We have owned Kerries since 1956. Our first show dog, Ch. Townshend's Fair Chance (Casey), came from Heard and Edith Izant, of Townshend Kennels, California, in 1968. He was a top 10 Kerry Blue for the three years he was shown. We acquired, Ch. South County Muffet, a five year old bitch, who became our foundation. Her outgoing temperament and conformation were a match to this dog. Their single breeding produced two Best in Show littermates.

About Us
As AKC Breeders of Merit, our goal is to breed and exhibit Kerries that display type and soundness. Our dogs, whether companion or show, have stable temperaments, health, and longevity. They are consistent in type throughout the more than 40 years we have been breeding. Dogs from our line excel in the show ring as well as in performance and obedience disciplines. A dog from Casey Kerry Blue Terriers retains the qualities that make the breed well suited to its original function as a utilitarian working dog. Contact us today for more information about our dogs.
Casey Kerries encourages anyone interested in this breed to contact as many breeders as possible before purchasing a puppy.
